Art Chantler is a Vice President and Senior Benefits Consultant at GCG Financial. He joined the firm in January 2000 after working as a Principal at Kraemer Chantler Associates, Inc., an insurance agency in Lake Bluff, Illinois since 1989. Art works extensively with small and medium sized companies with their employee benefits strategies and programs. He brings a strong emphasis on creative strategies, implementation, and communication to help his clients efficiently work toward their short and long term objectives.
Art, a marketing and economics graduate of Miami University in Oxford Ohio, is licensed in Health, Life, and Property and Casualty insurance and is a Registered Representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc. He is a Registered Health Underwriter (RHU), Registered Employee Benefits Consultant (REBC) and a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, Chicago Association of Life Underwriters and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.
Art is active in several charities, has served on the board of Gorton Community Center in Lake Forest where he and his wife reside, is past President of the Lake Forest/Lake Bluff Rotary Club and is a Paul Harris Fellow. He is also active in his church, serving as an Elder, Deacon, and member of the Personnel Committee and sings in the choir.
When not working, Art enjoys his grandchildren, golf, trout fishing, and his cabin in Northern Michigan.
