Early in his career, Arthur Gold was an agent with the Internal Revenue Service. He was responsible for auditing individual and major corporate tax returns. While with the IRS, he was also certified as an instructor to teach income tax law to incoming and continuing agents.
Upon leaving the IRS, Arthur went into pension consulting. He was responsible for designing and administering pension and profit sharing plans, both qualified and non-qualified. In connection with this specialty, he also provided insurance and investment counseling in particular reference to products, tax and financial aspects.
With GCG Financial, Arthur has expanded his area of specialization to encompass estate planning issues. He works to help business owners, executives and professionals integrate financial products into their estate plans. He is, of course, still a well-known authority on a wide spectrum of retirement plan issues.
In addition to his role as consultant, Arthur is an instructor for Successful Money Management at Northeastern University. He is also available to speak at meetings and seminars.
A graduate of Roosevelt University with a B.A. in Accounting, Arthur is a member of the Independent Accountant's Association and the National Association of Life Underwriters.
Married with one daughter, Art is an avid traveler and has been all around the world. He is active in many charities and organizations and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Northbrook Community Synagogue.
