Becky has been the Senior Group Benefits Sales Consultant in the Denver GCG Financial office since joining the firm in June 2001.
In addition to her many responsibilities, she uses her expertise in Group Employee Benefits to attract new clients while retaining her large block of existing groups. Becky is an invaluable resource to all of the GCG producers, especially those located in the Colorado area. She has over 25 years of experience and expertise in the areas of Group Health, Life, Disability, Dental, Vision, and pre-packaged 401k products.
Becky started out in the group insurance business working as a sales representative for Pat Rogers Agency and Bankers Life (now Principal Financial Group). While there, her responsibilities included marketing, training and assisting agents in the group sales process. Because of her rapport with the local agents, her loving and caring style and her unmatched knowledge she soon developed into one of the most successful sales representatives in the history of that company. After a very prosperous career she moved on to open her own employee benefits agency, which she owned for almost 15 years. During that time she grew the business from a "grass roots" company to a major group agency and a powerful force in the Colorado region.
Becky has received numerous awards and professional recognition over the years. She is one of only six people in the nation that is an original qualifier for the Humana Leaders Club trips. That is quite an accomplishment, considering that she qualified under her own production with no help from any other producers. She has also served on the board of many organizations over the years, including the Colorado Life Underwriters Association.
Becky lives in the Northern Denver Suburbs (close to Boulder) with her dog Lupi, and her "attack parrot" Sammy. She spends much of her free time with her family, which includes two sons, daughters-in-law, and four grandchildren. Becky is also an avid supporter of the local sports teams, especially the Denver Broncos, Colorado Avalanche, and University of Colorado fighting Buffaloes.
