Brian holds a degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Finance Investments & Banking and completed his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional designation from Northwestern University. He has earned the professional designations of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional and Certification of Long Term Care, CLTC, to better assist his clients.
He has been in the financial services and insurance industry since 2001 and is a Qualifying Member of the Million Dollar Round Table, an organization comprised of the top financial professionals worldwide. Brian is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with Securian Financial Services, Inc.
Brian's services include developing appropriate financial strategies for businesses and individuals. Brian assists families in transferring assets and businesses to the next generation. He develops and implements detailed wealth transfer strategies.
For business owners he assists in the selection and implementation of various programs including group insurance, buy/sell planning, 401(k) and non-qualified plans. For his individual and family clients he helps with their needs in the areas of insurance, investments*, college funding, estate planning and retirement strategies. In addition, Brian works separately as a financial planner if his clients desire a comprehensive fee-based financial plan*.
In the medical community he is a sought after speaker. Each year he conducts over 150 financial educational workshops for residents, fellows and practicing physicians nationwide. Brian understands that physicians have very little time to research and keep up to date on many tax advantages and investment options available to them. One of his primary goals is to help physicians navigate successfully through the many financial options available.
He is an avid baseball fan who played four years in college. Due to the absence of a varsity program while attending UW, he founded the University of Wisconsin's Baseball Club. That organization has given many students the opportunity to play baseball at a very competitive level nationwide.
