Dan Strandberg is a vice president with GCG Financial, having joined the firm in 1981. He is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor with Securian Financial Services, Inc.
Dan has been published in several newspapers on topics ranging from college planning to financial, investment, retirement, estate planning and the design of exit planning strategies for business owners.
Active in many charities and organizations, Dan takes pride in working closely with his church and several community service organizations located in Northwest Indiana and Phoenix, AZ.
Dan is a member of the International Association of Financial Planning, the Institute of Certified Financial Planners, Premier Resource Group, the Chicago Association of Life Underwriters, the National Center for Financial Education, the Business Enterprise Institute and is a member of MDRT. He has served as a member of the Mutual Fund Oversight Committee with the ICFP.
After attending Eastern Illinois University, Dan entered the financial services Industry in 1978. He has been a Certified Financial Planner™ professional since 1986, earning this designation from the College for Financial Planning, Denver, CO.
Dan resides in Gilbert, AZ with his wife Geri and two sons. He is a Harley-Davidson enthusiast and also enjoys golfing, working out and gourmet cooking.
