Joel Schwartz, CLU, ChFC, CLTC - Vice President

Joel concentrates his work in three vital areas - employee benefits, business continuation strategies and estate planning. He prides himself on being an accomplished communicator who is able to reduce complex problems into simple and understandable solutions. His clients, primarily executives, professionals and business owners, also benefit from Joel's expertise in personal risk management and retirement strategies. His success in helping people in these areas has resulted in his membership in the Million Dollar Roundtable's Top of the Table. The Million Dollar Roundtable is an organization which is comprised of the top financial sales professionals worldwide. Joel has lectured on the uses of insurance in estate planning before the Chicago Bar Association. He has also been a featured speaker at various agency and industry meetings and conducts seminars for business and professional groups on an ongoing basis.

Joel began his professional career with General Electric and subsequently held financial and marketing positions both with General Electric and General Electric Capital. He is a graduate of the General Electric Financial Management Program. Other educational background includes a BA from Franklin and Marshall College, a Master's Degree in Strategic Planning from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology, , an MBA from the University of Massachusetts (concentration in Finance) and the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) and Corporation for Long Term Care (CLTC) professional designations.

Joel is currently the President of The Chicago chapter of The American Society for Technion and is on the Board of Directors of the Jewish National Fund.

Joel is married, has two children and lives in Northbrook, Illinois.
