John Eichmann, CLU, ChFC, REBC - Vice President
John Eichmann is a member of GCGs exclusive Black Tie Club - recognition reserved for the top tier of agents affiliated with GCG. He works with businesses in the development and management of their employee benefit programs, which encompasses group insurance plans, qualified and non-qualified retirement plans, executive benefit programs, business succession strategies, and personal insurance and wealth accumulation needs of the executive team.
John began his career in the insurance business in 1986 as a group health underwriter. He was quickly elevated to Underwriting Manager for Blue Cross of California in charge of the Southern California market. John then moved into the sales arena working as a Group Representative for Blue Cross of California and then Lincoln National Life. Prior to joining GCG Financial in November 1994, he worked in the brokerage community for three years as a group health specialist.
John received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Texas in 1986. He is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC), and Registered Employee Benefit Consultant (REBC).
John and his wife, Sarah, live in the northern suburbs of Chicago, an area they have called home since childhood. They have two children, Joey and Claire, and are very involved in their school and sport activities. Sarah is involved in the fundraising efforts of the Lake County Haven, an organization that empowers homeless women and children to achieve permanent independent living. When time permits, John remains active in sports. Seeing the world is a passion of the Eichmann family.
