Kevin J. Phillips - Financial Advisor
Kevin is a Financial Advisor at GCG Financial, Inc. He holds a degree in Finance from Indiana University, and is a Registered Representative & Investment Advisor Representative with Securian Financial Services, Inc. Kevin became an Advisor with GCG because he believes in doing what is right for each client, and is passionate about helping others. Kevin specializes in developing and implementing wealth management and protection strategies for businesses and individuals.
Kevin believes that clients make their best financial decisions within the context of a formal, comprehensive analysis that address all of the major aspects of their financial lives. Each new client relationship begins with a thorough examination of the client’s goals and resources. Kevin then helps the client objectively evaluate a variety of solutions. For individuals, Kevin helps his clients in the areas of Investments*, Insurance, College Planning, Estate Planning and Retirement Strategies. In addition, Kevin works separately as a financial planner if his clients desire a comprehensive fee-based financial plan.* As clients are best served by a team approach, Kevin works with Duane Stevens, another Advisor at GCG. Together they work with hundreds of Physicians in the Chicagoland area, and across the United States, to develop and implement a variety of wealth management and protection strategies. For business owners, they assist in the selection and implementation of various programs including: Business Continuation, Pension, Medical, Disability, 401(k), and Non-Qualified Retirement Strategies.
Kevin brought a vast array of knowledge upon joining GCG. Starting at the age of just 16, Kevin was a clerk on the floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and continued to do so throughout his high school and college career. He then went on to trade stocks for a large trading firm based out of Chicago, IL. He specialized in trading stocks on the New York Stock Exchange & NASDAQ Stock Exchange, and did so for 6 years.
Kevin lives in St. Charles with his wife Jennifer, and children, Tyler and Emma. During his free time, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, volunteering, golfing, going to sporting events, and traveling.
