Kit Lancaster - Financial Advisor
Kit Lancaster joined GCG in 2011 as a Financial Advisor. He brings several years of leadership experience to the firm, having served with the U.S. Army as a Field Artillery Officer for four years.
Kit graduated from University of Denver in 2006 with a dual degree in Finance and Accounting. In the following years he completed military training in the United States Army Field Artillery Basic Officers Course, Airborne School, Targeting School, and Brigade Fire Support Coordination. Kit held several leadership positions including Logistical Officer, Intelligence Officer, Operations Officer and Detachment Commander. He continued on to serve in the U.S. Army from 2006 to 2010, retiring with the rank of Captain. He deployed twice in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and was awarded the Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal and the Army Overseas Service Ribbon.
Kit supports local organizations such as the Illinois Patriot Fund and Operation Homefront. He also volunteers his time to the Museum of Science and Industry and in his free time enjoys cycling, running and traveling. Kit and his wife Leann live in Chicago and are fans of the Chicago Bears and Denver Broncos.
