Krista Bommarito - Compliance Officer
Krista joined GCG Financial in June 2000 as the firm Compliance Officer. Her role is to work with the advisors at GCG to ensure adherence to the compliance rules and procedures set forth by GCG, Securian, FINRA and the SEC. Krista achieves this by constant contact with the advisors, whether it is during a formal audit or a friendly reach out telephone call. She often credits her success by the relationships she has developed with the advisors and staff. Her supervisory style is one of partnering to understand the importance of regulatory requirements rather than dictating requirements.
Prior to joining GCG, Krista worked in the hospitality industry. She managed several restaurants in the Toledo and Cleveland, Ohio area. She is a graduate of Michigan State University.
When not working, Krista enjoys spending time with friends and family. Two years ago she decided to try "something new" each year. Most recently, during a visit to Corolla, North Carolina, she has learned to surf, although not very well. Krista resides in Mason, Ohio with her husband Tony and sons Nikola and Dominic.
