Mark Tauber, CLU, ChFC, RHU - Vice President 

Mark Tauber is a Vice President of GCG Financial, having been with the firm since 1992. Mark specializes in financial and estate planning, as well as business strategies, including executive compensation strategies, business continuation strategies and employee benefit plans. Mark's clients are high net worth individuals, successful business owners, professionals, or high level executives.

Mark received his Bachelor of Science degree from Illinois State University in 1973 and a Master of Science degree in Communications from ISU in 1975. He received his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC) designations in 1997, his Registered Health Underwriter (RHU) in 2000 and his Chartered Advisor for Senior Living (CASL) in 2006 from The American College. A Qualifying Member of the Million-Dollar Round Table, Mark also belongs to the Society of Financial Service Professionals, The  Premier Resource Group, and several national and local associations of life and health underwriters.

Active in many continuing education endeavors, Mark is an adjunct professor in The Lake Forest Graduate School of Management's Executive MBA Program (since 1986) and a national seminar speaker for The American Management Association. He is a highly sought speaker on financial services as well as management and communications. He has written numerous articles published in Personnel Administrator and the Training, and Personnel Journal. Mark is a member of the Arlington Heights Noon Rotary Club. He is also a Paul Harris Fellow.

Mark and his wife Janice live in Arlington Heights, Illinois. They are the proud parents of two adult children. Mark and Janice enjoy travel and personal fitness. Mark is a veteran of over 30 years of long distance running and triathlon competitions.
