Nancy C. Medin - Director of Human Resources

Nancy joined the firm in January 1989 and is the Director of Human Resources for GCG Financial, Inc. Her responsibilities include recruitment, hiring, performance management, employee relations, leadership and teamwork, benefit administration, creating and maintaining HR policies and procedures that align with the firm's overall vision. Nancy also "champions" the GCG Generous Community Giving program which promotes team participation in worthy charitable projects. During her tenure at GCG Financial she has had responsibility of managing the Employee Benefits Department and the training and development of new sales advisors. 

Nancy is a native of Northbrook, Illinois and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Training and Development with a focus in Human Resources Management from DePaul University. 

Nancy is very active in her community and believes strongly in giving back to her community. She is on the board of the Northbrook Rotary Club and currently holds the positions of Director of Community Service and "End Polio" Coordinator and assists with the district trips to Guatemala.  She is also a board member of the North Suburban Career and Networking Center that provides counseling and solutions for community members that are in job transitions.  Nancy also volunteers as a CERT member and is a Northbrook Police Citizen volunteer and a hospice volunteer. She sings with the community choir and has performed at Carnegie Hall and the Kennedy Center.

Nancy currently resides in her home town of Northbrook.  She has four grown sons and she enjoys travel, dancing, and life-long learning.
