Wade Olson, CFP® - Financial Advisor
Wade Olson is a Financial Advisor at GCG Financial, Inc. (an independent financial services firm) with a focus on developing and implementing innovative financial strategies for businesses and individuals. With a commitment to continuing education, Wade is passionate about utilizing his knowledge and experience to serve his clients. Wade believes the problem should define the solution to a client’s financial riddle rather than allowing a specific financial product to box in the problem. This value system and independence allow him to identify high quality solutions tailored to an individual’s situation.
Wade’s philosophy in developing financial strategies focuses on helping maximize the growth of assets while minimizing risks and the impact of taxes. Wade focuses on short- and long-term goals, whether a new home, college savings, debt reduction, retirement strategies, risk protection or estate planning. Existing clients benefit from regular reviews and adjustments to address evolving needs.
On the business side, Wade develops strategies with business owners to implement deferred compensation programs, executive compensation plans, business continuation strategies and executive bonus programs.
Wade is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc. and holds Series 7 and 66 registrations as well as Colorado Life, Health and Long Term Care licenses. He is also a CFP® (Certified Financial Planner) and alumni of the College for Financial Planning.
When Wade isn’t studying or working, he enjoys golf, scuba diving, tennis, mountain sports and spending time with his wife and two young children in Parker, CO. He is active with the men’s ministry at Crossroads Community Church and also volunteers for Junior Achievement and Habitat for Humanity.
Wade’s greatest accomplishments include completing the St. Louis marathon, earning an academic scholarship from Colorado State University, and living abroad as a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor where he taught several hundred people to scuba dive. Before young children entered his world, he found time to summit 18 of Colorado’s 14ers.
