At GCG, we firmly believe something needs to be done to fix our health care system. We are concerned about how quickly this is possibly moving and about the Governments involvement.
Here is a quote from an article on MSNBC:
A day earlier, House Democratic leaders pledged to meet the president's goal of health care legislation before their August break, offering a $1.5 trillion plan that for the first time would make health care a right and a responsibility for all Americans. Left to pick up most of the tab were medical providers, employers and the wealthy.
We feel that the proposed healthcare reform and initiatives being discussed in congress do not include broker involvement in the health insurance process and will make it very difficult for people to navigate the system. What we don't want is a government-run entity trying to substitute for the role and value of professional benefit specialists or remove you, the Employer, from the system.
