Dimensions:
The Director of Recruiting is responsible for generating and managing a flow of financial advisor candidates that support the continued growth and vitality of the Firm in its designated markets.
Job Responsibilities:
Attraction (60%):
1. Sources and recruits potential financial advisor candidates within the firm’s target markets.
2. Develops qualified lead strategies from multiple sources to create a candidate selection pool large enough to meet recruiting goals.
3. Conveys the mission, values and culture of the firm in an effective and motivating way.
Integrity of the Process (30%):
4. Manages candidate pipeline and facilitates the selection process for each individual candidate to ensure timely follow up and movement through the required interviews and testing.
5. Provides initial screening of candidates for compatibility with the career and firm.
6. Coordinates contracting, licensing and on-boarding process for all new advisor candidates.
7. Maintains reporting requirements to keep Managing Partner and management team abreast of recruiting results and assure the selection system’s flow and effectiveness. Prepares reports showing recruiting activity and active candidates, and other relevant information, to assist the management team in making selection decisions.
Firm Responsibilities (10%):
8. Attends applicable firm or industry meetings, and participates in annual firm recruiting planning and execution.
